How do I get traffic from ChatGPT?

ChatGPT finds businesses in two ways: from what it already learned, and from live web search, which mostly runs on Bing. To show up, make sure Bing indexes your site, get mentioned on the review sites and lists that AI answers quote, put a clear answer at the top of each page, and do not block AI crawlers such as GPTBot. Traffic from ChatGPT is smaller than traffic from Google, but it tends to convert better. Sophyx does this work for you and publishes it on your own site.

What is Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)?

GEO is the work of getting your business mentioned, and described correctly, in AI answers from tools like ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. SEO is about ranking in a list of links. GEO is about what the AI says when it answers, and AI builds that answer from your digital footprint: everything the web says about you. It is also called AEO (answer engine optimization) or LLM SEO. The work is the same.

What is the difference between an AI visibility tracker and Sophyx?

A tracker tells you how often AI mentions you. Sophyx shows you that too, then fixes what is wrong. We write the corrections, publish them on your website, and let AI assistants book customers for you.

Is SEO dead now that AI answers the question?

No. For most businesses, Google still sends most of the search traffic. What has changed is that more people get an answer without clicking, and a normal SEO report does not show what that answer said about you. You need both, and the same work helps both: clear pages with correct facts.
